Frequently Asked Questions

• What is your staff-to-child ratio? Typically we aim for a 1:4 staff-to-child ratio for little ones under 2 years of age. For the more older & independent age groups the staff-to-ratio is 1:5.
• What kind of food/snacks are provided? As part of your payment, we provide healthy ORGANIC snacks on a daily basis. Occasionally, some snacks may be homemade & kosher. You are more than welcome to bring food/snacks for your child if they require a special diet.
• Is there an outdoor play area? Yes! We have a good balance of outdoor and indoor play & learning. Our outdoor area has synthetic grass where the children can enjoy our slide, swings, and other outdoor activities we schedule for the day. In turn, we have an indoor classroom in the same area where the kids participate in educational lessons/activities.
• Do you let the children watch TV? Absolutely not! We believe in encouraging the children to engage & interact with each other, participate in all the activities we provide, and develop the necessary social skills to prepare them for “real” school.
• What if my child is sick?We understand that illness is inevitable! However, we do aim to keep our facility & children safe and clean. With that said, we trust that parents use their best judgement to assess whether their child may need to stay home or seek medical care.
• Will I be charged for the day(s) my child is absent?As much as your child will be missed for the day, payments are accepted on a monthly or yearly basis. Therefore, no refunds are applied.
